FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely traumatology and orthopaedics. A method consists in carrying out closed fragment reduction and fixation in a correct position. An injured extremity segment is fixed with an immobilised sleeve-like bandage section made of a hardening flexible fixing material. Support fragment fixation points are not inserted therein. The fixing section of the polymer bandage is made of the hardening rigid material in the form of a closed "frame" made of one or more splints which are applied on the injured extremity segment in a plane of the detected fragment displacement. The free ends of the splint or splints are rigidly connected. The connections are bridged; the bridges are made of the hardening rigid material, arranged on proximal or distal levels of the injured extremity segment in the form of half rings on the one side or opposite sides thereby connecting at least three specified fixation levels, two extreme fastening levels of the injured segment or a jointed segment with the specified or in-between inserted level of the reducing effort application with forming at these levels minimally three noncollinear support fixation points which are inserted in the frame-like fixation portion of the polymer bandage in plane of the possible secondary fragment displacement which after hardening of the applied bandage become rigidly connected.
EFFECT: invention provides stable fixation of the injured bone fragments before facture consolidation, without limiting the varying muscular volume of the injured extremity segment with simultaneously simplified procedure, without reducing potential early and late complications.
