FIELD: rescue facilities.

SUBSTANCE: individual rescue lever device is used in fires in high-rise buildings. Device has case with "П"-shaped handle, hole for fixation of carabiner, which contains a line of pulleys for rope winding with formation of oppositely directed motion, lever braking device. Braking device is made in form of movable brake block, which moves in case guide canal and presses rope in place of oppositely directed motion to immovable brake block, under pressure of operating level on movable brake block. Movable brake block is made in form of rectangular parallelepiped with brake element, has through canal for free rope travel. Immovable brake block is made in form of rectangular parallelepiped with through guide canal whose depth is more than two diametres of rope that is used, and whose width equals one rope diametre with a clearance. Width of each pulley equals rope diametre, inside case also made is site for immovable brake block.

EFFECT: invention provides possibility of controlled, reliable descent for a person in case of fire in high-rise building.
