SUBSTANCE: device for gravity chute along wire is used for emergency evacuation of people from upper floors of the buildings. For this purpose device for gravity chute includes body frame with range of sheaves for consistent cable winding, lever facility of friction breaking and element of fixation to the user body. Breaking facility is made in form of sheaves, sliding in side holes of the frame, fitted with friction bits leaning the sheaves butt ends. Outside the frame level handles are pin-jointed, which influence the free ends of sheaves. At that cable is wound on each sheave less than 1 turnaround in dependence of sheave location. Element of device fixation to the user is made in shape of ear on the lower side of frame.
EFFECT: possibility of speed discretionary descend with the high level of reliability and durability.
