FIELD: personal safety devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to personal safety devices for rescuing people during their independent evacuation in case of fires and other emergencies in multi-storey buildings and other high-rise building structures. The system for gravity self-descent of people from a great height contains a box with shelves installed in several tiersin its inner space and a halyard rope laid on them in a zigzag pattern, a descent speed limiter, including an electric generator designed to automatically brake the rotation of the shaft when the permissible speed of its rotation is exceeded. The system also contains a suspension device equipped with a seat and a clamp, and a brake cable, the upper end of which is connected to a manual braking mechanism connected to an electric generator.
EFFECT: technical result is the possibility of self-descent of people from a great height with automatic regulation of the uniform speed of descent, with the possibility of emergency manual braking during the descent, increasing safety and reliability.
