SUBSTANCE: device relates to rescue devices and is used in case of fires in high-rise buildings. Device has case and contains element for carabiner fixation, coil for safety cable, two devices for braking, brake drum or brake disc. Two braking devices perform impact on brake drum or brake disc simultaneously, one braking device being of lever type, the other braking device having possibility to brake under the impact of screw pressure on braking elements.

EFFECT: device provides possibility of controlled safe descent of people from upper building floors.
