FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in inorganic chemistry. To obtain sodium hydrofluoride, sodium-containing material and a fluorinating agent are mixed in stoichiometric proportion and the obtained mixture is heated at temperature 25-240°C. The sodium-containing material used is sodium chloride, sodium fluoride or sodium hydroxide, and the fluorinating agent used is solid ammonium fluoride, ammonium hydrodifluoride or mixture thereof.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain sodium hydrofluoride from solid reagents, reduces the number of steps to produce sodium hydrofluoride.
