ABSORBING BAG APPLIED IN CASE OF INCONTINENCE IN MEN Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61F13/471

Abstract RU 2416384 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bag for collecting urine, applied in case of incontinence in men. Bag (1) for collecting urine contains absorbing filler (2), enclosed between two coatings (3, 4), coatings extending beyond lateral sides of absorbing filler and beyond its opposite longitudinal edges, and are fixed to each other at the sections, which are beyond absorbing filler. Element, formed from coatings and filler, enclosed between them, is folded on lateral line of bend in such a way that two parts of said element are superposed on each other, and two pairs of fastened coatings, extending beyond respective lateral side of said folded element, are hermetically fastened to each other by seam (7, 8), extending from said line of bend in longitudinal direction and ending at a distance from edges of said folded element; in one of said two parts of said element made is through hole (9), and one of said parts includes means (12) of fastening longitudinal and/or lateral edges of said parts to each other, elastic element being located along the perimetre of said hole. Each pair of fastened coatings (3, 4) forms a valve (5, 6), one of them being provided with a hole (9). Elastic element represents overlay (10) from elastic material, covering hole (9). Overlay (10) has a hole (11), whose perimetre is smaller than perimetre of the hole in said valve, and each point of perimetre of hole (11) is at a distance not less than 10 mm from hole (9) edge.

EFFECT: invention ensures reliability of fastening on user, guarantees comfort in wearing with any size of penis, reduces to minimum risk of leaking.
