FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to destruction of structures by blasting and may be used in disposal of industrial rubber goods, e.g. worn-out tires. Proposed method consists in placing explosive contact charge on tire surface and its blasting. Note here that said charge represents a flat layer with width corresponding to tire width and is placed on outer tread surface all over tire length.
EFFECT: direct division into cords and rubber chips.
