SUBSTANCE: end plug for a roll of material is inserted into a retention device. The end plug comprises the following components: an insert part for insertion into a roll of material, an end surface for contact with the retention device and a support element for insertion into the retention device. The support element comprises a support pin, including a support surface facing the end surface, and a blocking element to block the end plug in the extreme position in the retention device. The blocking element is located in the zone formed by the first surface and the second surface. The first surface passes in direction towards the end surface from the point of crossing with the support pin. The first surface is arranged at the angle of 117° relative to longitudinal axis of the support pin. The second surface passes in direction towards the end surface from the point of crossing. The second surface is arranged at the angle of 141° relative to longitudinal axis of the support pin.
EFFECT: increased blocking force.
