SUBSTANCE: invention relative to face plug for roll of material to fitted into retaining device. Face plug comprises receiving part with sizes that allow its fitting into hollow core of roll with material, and support element with sizes that allow its fitting into retaining device. Support element comprises thrust pin with opposite surface facing receiving part and locking surface that serves to retain face plug in extreme position on retainer. Locking surface is arranged between receiving part and thrust pin, and has, at least, one section inclined to thrust pin lengthwise axis at the angle varying from 117° to 141°.
EFFECT: higher locking force, ease of plug replacement in retaining device.
