FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: steel contains carbon, manganese, nickel, aluminium, silicon, copper, chromium, vanadium, nitrogen, iron and unavoidable impurities at following ratio of components, wt %: carbon 0.08 -0.15, manganese 0.3 - 1.0, nickel 0.2 - 1.5, aluminium 0.03 - 0.1, silicon 0.05 -0.2, copper 0.05 - 0.35, chromium 0.05 - 0.4, vanadium 0.05 - 0.2, nitrogen 0.01 - 0.04, iron and unavoidable impurities - the rest. Summary contents of chromium, silicon, copper and vanadium does not exceed 0.6 % at ratio Si/Cu≤2. Items out of steel are made in form of thick plates of 22-25 mm thickness or in form of thin wall ferrules.

EFFECT: raised ductility at cold forming and high strength on separate sections of formed item.
