FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in preliminary abrasive-jet treatment of surface, in cleaning surface with ion etching and in application of coating. Coating is applied by sputtering mosaic target in form of a disk made out of titanium with lead insertions uniformly distributed in it. Application is performed in a magnetron spraying system in a reactive medium of gases - argon and nitrogen. Also, coating is applied out of nitrides of titanium and lead at the following ratio of components: titanium nitride - 90-95 %; lead - 5-10 %.
EFFECT: increased resistance to wear and fatigue, elimination of burrs on working surfaces of parts.
