FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: valve consists of case (2) with axial channel (3), of spherical rotary plug (6), of seat (15), of lug (31), of slots (55, 56) and of devices for equalising fluid medium between inlet and outlet sides of seat before valve opening. Plug (6) rotates in the case between closed and open positions and has through orifice (10). Seat (15) is positioned on the inlet side and has central pass (16). It is installed in the channel of the case before the plug and performs progressive travels along axis (3). The seat is compressed to the plug by means of elastic device (27). Lug (31) in seat (15) projects in the direction of the plug. First slot (55) in the plug interacts with the lug, when the plug is in a closed position. Second slot (56) in plug (6) interacts with lug (31), when plug (6) is in an opened position. First slot (55) is at a distance from second slot (56) at angle (α) equal from 70° to 80°.

EFFECT: reduced wear of valve, its increased pressure tightness at low and medium pressure and simplified operation.
