FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: at uniform rotation of crankshaft there is determined value of friction moment when piston is moving from lower to upper dead point. It is compared with a standard one. By their difference there is evaluated condition of contact of the connection. Operation of control is successively repeated after assembly of each connecting rod in assembly with the piston, and also after assembly of a head of a cylinder block.
EFFECT: raised accuracy and reliability of diagnosis of contacts in connections of crank gear and piston-cylinder unit at repair assembly of engine.
