SUBSTANCE: incubation device comprises a cabinet equipped with a conditioner to control humidity and moisture in air passing through the cabinet, at least one frame, where at least one rack is installed with trays arranged along the vertical line one above another. Each tray comprises multiple seats for eggs, and an egg may be placed into each of them. The trays are arranged with the possibility of forward and reverse rotation at the specified angle of rotation around the horizontal axis relative to the frame, to turn the eggs so that the distance along the vertical line between the trays arranged one above another depends on the angular position of the specified trays relative to the horizontal plane. Besides, the device comprises rotary facilities for each rack to periodically turn the trays at the specified angle of rotation. The device also comprises a control facility to adjust the value of the specified rotation angle during incubation and measurement facilities to do at least one measurement, providing an instantaneous value of at least one incubation parametre, which must be measured. The control facility is connected to measurement facilities so that the measurement signals arriving from the measurement facilities are sent to control facilities. The control facility is connected to rotation facilities so that the signal of the rotation angle, representing the value of the specified angle of rotation, is sent to the rotation facilities. The control facility is arranged with the possibility to carry out the following stages: identification of the optimal angle of rotation to turn the trays in the specified rack depending on the specified instantaneous value, adjustment of the rotation angle signal so that the value of the specified rotation angle becomes equal to the optimal angle of rotation. The method of incubation includes the following stages: doing at least one measurement, which represents an instantaneous value of at least one parametre of incubation; detection of the optimal angle of rotation to rotate the trays in the rack, depending on the specified instantaneous value; setting the size of the specified identified angle of rotation as equal to the optimal angle of rotation. In another version of the method, during incubation, a control stage is carried out, when the value of the specified angle of rotation is adjusted, in particular, to the value, which is not equal to 0°.
EFFECT: making it possible to adjust the incubation process parametres, as a result of which losses in hatched chickens are lower.
