FIELD: agriculture, in particular, incubation of eggs of various kinds of poultry. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing eggs in egg holder, conveying, storing and providing incubation process without handling eggs outside incubator up to the time of reception of hatched chickens. Apparatus has incubation container with egg holders arranged in stack defined by frame provided with crank mechanism urging eggs to rotate. Ventilating and humidifying devices are positioned below incubation opening. Method and apparatus allow incubation process to be conducted regardless of external actions and under conditions approximating natural hatching conditions.
