FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in chemical industry. To remove acid gases from fluid flow in contact with absorbent containing aqueous solution of, at least, one amine is forced through first adsorption zone 3 at the bottom of absorption plant 1. Note here that major part of acid gases is removed. Then, fluid flow is forced through second adsorption zone 4 at the top of absorption plant. Absorption plant top features smaller cross section compared with that of the plant bottom. Saturated absorbent is directed into first regeneration zone 24 to produce partially regenerated absorbent a portion of which is directed into first absorption zone 3. Another portion of partially regenerated absorbent is directed into second regeneration zone 25 to produce regenerated absorbent. Now, one portion of regenerated absorbent is directed into first absorption zone 3 while the other portion is directed into second absorption zone 4.
EFFECT: possibility of retooling acid gas removal plant, acceptable power consumption.
