FIELD: colloidal chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the methods of producing semiconductor nanoparticles, in particular colloidal quantum dots (CQDs), by the method of aqueous colloidal synthesis. The approach described in the invention makes it possible to obtain CdTe/CdSe/CdS/ZnS quantum dots coated with a copolymer of N-vinylpyrrolidone, maleic anhydride and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate using a stabilizer system consisting of thioglycolic acid and L-Cysteine in an aqueous medium.
EFFECT: quantum dots obtained by the described method remain stable in biological media and have a quantum yield of more than 25%.
