FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to welding hardware, namely, to electrode holders for manual arc welding to be used in various industries. Proposed holder comprises current feed device with isolated handle, support with groove to accommodate electrode, isolated lever and spring-loaded clip. Isolated lever is articulated on said clip to swing on horizontal axle. Clip is arranged on said current feed device to move horizontally thereon. For this said clip incorporates toothed sector in the area of contact with said current feed device that is provided in said zone with mating rack. Clip working end is forked. One forked end is provided with push rod while opposite end has ledge to extract electrode. Aforesaid groove has wall with crosswise slot, while support wall is provided with guide thrust.

EFFECT: higher reliability.
