FIELD: welding technique, namely manufacture of welded structures in different branches of machine engineering. SUBSTANCE: electrode holder for manual arc welding includes electric current lead with insulated handle and with lodgment; spring-loaded clamp having protruded from handle insulated lever. Lodgment has groove for mounting electrode, said groove is terminated by abutment. Clamp is mounted on electric current lead with possibility of rocking on horizontal axle. Lodgment is mounted with possibility of rotation around axis secured to electric current lead and it has member for fixing its position. Clamp has convex surface turned to lodgment. Convex surface point the nearest relative to lodgment is placed on rotation axis of lodgment at working position of clamp. EFFECT: improved design, enhanced reliability of easy-to-use electrode holder due to possibility of gradual change of angular position of electrode in wide range. 11 cl, 6 dwg
