FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of individual protection against impact of pulse concentrated damage agents, such as, for instance, small arms bullets of 5.45-12.7 mm calibre, with initial speed of a bullet up to 1000 m/sec, and also cold arms. Layer nanofibrous material for a bullet-proof vest, including sheets of aluminium or magnesium alloy and nanofibre layers, some of which are layers of aluminium oxide nanofibres, at the same time each layer of nanofibres is arranged between sheets of aluminium or magnesium alloy, and nanofibres in layers are joined by a thermosetting binder, at the same time composition of nanofibre layers includes also layers of basalt and polycarbonate nanofibres, besides, layers of nanofibres are made serially repeatedly in direction of damage effect from oxide of aluminium, basalt, polycarbonate, and sheets of aluminium or magnesium alloy are reinforced with nanofibres of aluminium oxide, which make (20-75) vol.% of a sheet, and on surface of each sheet there is a layer of titanium sprayed with thickness of up to 10 micron, at the same time nanofibres of each layer joined by a binder total to up to 50 vol.% of the layer, besides, the cross size of the nanofibre does not exceed 10 micron.
EFFECT: development of a new layer nanofibrous material for a bullet-proof vest, which has high reliability and reduced weight.
