FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed system has an optical table, having an object receiving surface which is adapted to capture the image obtained through the touch of four fingers, an image obtained through the touch of one finger and a fingerprint image obtained by rolling. The disclosed system also has a multicolour light source for illuminating the object receiving surface, and a system for forming a colour image, having an image plane and provided to receive light from the object receiving surface in order to form the image of the object on the object receiving surface. The disclosed system has a lens mechanism for focusing light from the object receiving surface onto the image plane and for providing transverse and axial colour correction of the focused light.

EFFECT: reduced distortions when forming a fingerprint image.
