FIELD: images forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to imaging devices. Apparatus includes a light guide plate and a light source for emitting at least a portion of the light into the light guide plate. Honeycomb plate is installed on the surface of the light guide plate, in which there are a plurality of densely arranged through holes parallel to each other. Diameter of each hole is in the range of 0.5 to 50 mcm, and the size of the resulting fingerprint or palm print is equal to the size of the resulting image. Thickness of the honeycomb plate is five times the diameter of the through hole. Distance between the centers of adjacent holes is less than or equal to 50.8 mcm. Image sensor is mounted on the other surface of the honeycomb plate.
EFFECT: technical result is to reduce the thickness of the optical device to produce an image of fingerprints.
