SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices to hold a user in a sitting condition. The device for sitting has a support surface from a shaped membrane with a variable support, which comprises a U-shaped frame of a seat with a bent section and a separator rod which is bent down. The U-shaped frame of the seat with the bent section forms the back section of the seat frame, two substantially straight sections, which form side sections of the seat frame, an open section forming the front section of the seat frame, and a central hole. The support surface of the shaped membrane is tightened via the central hole of the seat frame. The bent-down separator rod is located between two straight sections near the front section of the seat frame. The bend directed down along the separator rod has such a shape that the body of the user sitting on the support surface does not contact with the separator rod, which struts two straight sections of the seat frame so that the shaped membrane is tightened more near the front section of the seat frame, compared to the back section of the seat frame.

EFFECT: invention provides for a higher comfort.
