INTEGRATION OF SPECIMENS STORAGE AND CONTROL IN BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC B01L3/00

Abstract RU 2418633 C2

FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to production of biological materials and specimens, entering them into storage locator system and stock control system, their use, reclamation, analysis, and to automation of listed processes. Invention discloses compositions and procedures for computer-aided storage, locating, reclaiming and analysing biological specimens including dry storage at ambient temperature of nucleic acids, proteins (including ferments) and cells using dry storage matrix, which allows reclaiming biologically active material. Invention covers using RFID-marked device to store biological substances that feature availability soluble or dissociating matrix for preserving biological specimens. Note here that said matrices may be dried and re-hydrated to reclaim the specimens. Invention discloses also computer-base systems and methods of keeping data on specimens intact.

EFFECT: universal devices and procedures.
