FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology and molecular biology, particularly to methods of producing a sequencing library comprising nucleic acids from a plurality of single cells. Methods of the present invention relate to production of combinatorial indexed libraries for sequencing single cells and obtaining sequence data therefrom.
EFFECT: in some embodiments, the sequence data obtained from the libraries are exhaustive, and in other embodiments, the sequence data obtained from the libraries enables to characterize rare events.
