FIELD: biochemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biochemistry. Compositions for the collection and storage of DNA or DNA-containing biological traces (variants), as well as a means for impregnating hygroscopic carrier materials and performing washings of DNA-containing biological traces, overlays or DNA for storage and/or transportation, where the agent is the above compositions. And the compositions include 1–40 mM Tris (hydroxymethyl) aminomethane, 0.05–1 % of Tween 20, 0.05–1 % of Triton X-100, 1–200 mM K2SO4, 1–200 mM KCl, 0.01–0.5 mM EDTA, 1–20 % glycerol, 0.01–0.4 % NaN3 and water.
EFFECT: inventors ensure stability of the DNA of biological samples over a wide temperature range over long periods of time.
