FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, in particular, to elements intended for protection of structural units of helicopters out of service and kept outside the hangars. In compliance with first version, helicopter rotor blade jacket consists of top and bottom canvasses made from polyether fabric. Jacket end is provided with unfastening strap and opening to receive tie-down fitting. Pockets are sown to top canvass to receive long and short inserts. Said inserts are made from two layers of foamed polystyrene and polycarbonate glued together. Pockets have flaps with textile fastener to estimate the state of inserts. Spacers are arranged between said pockets with the help of textile fastener. In compliance with first version, helicopter rotor (rear) blade jacket consists also of top and bottom canvasses made from polyether fabric. Pockets are sown to top and bottom canvasses wherein inserts are fitted. Pockets have flaps with textile fastener to estimate the state of inserts. Spacers are arranged between said pockets with the help of textile fastener.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation, better protection of rotor blades against mechanical damages.
