FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: procedure of gas evacuation from sections of pipelines in multi-strand systems of gas mains refers to pipeline gas transporting and can be implemented for gas evacuation from sections of pipelines in multi-strand systems of gas mains, parallel strands of which are connected with bridges in points of installation of gate-stop facilities before preventive or repair operations. The first version of the procedure consists in shutting off one of the strands of gas pipe of evacuated section at its inlet by means of the gate-stop facility; in directing gas via the bridges between the strands into a by-pass of the evacuated section through the parallel strands of the gas main; in disconnecting the evacuated section at its outlet from the parallel strands of the gas main by means of the gate-stop facilities; in disconnecting all further located sections of the strand along the whole route in the direction of gas transporting from the evacuated section to the nearest gas-transfer station by means of the gate-stop facilities; in connecting in this way the evacuated and adjacent, further located along the direction of gas transport, disconnected from the parallel strands, sections with an inlet collector of a supercharger of the nearest, the first along the direction of gas transport gas-transfer station; in shutting off one of the strands of the gas main located behind the first in the direction of gas transport gas-transfer station by means of gate-stop facilities at the outlet from the gas-transfer station; in disconnecting this strand from the parallel strands of the gas main along the whole route till the next, the second in the direction of gas transport station by means of the gate-stop facilities in the bridges; in connecting in this way this strand of the gas main at the outlet with the inlet collector of the second in the direction of gas transport gas-transfer station; in disconnecting a standard supercharger of the first gas-transfer station from the rest standard superchargers by means of the gate-stop facilities and in connecting the inlet of the supercharger with the outlet section of the gas main strand containing the evacuated and adjacent, further in the direction of gas transport, sections; in connecting the outlet of this, disconnected from the rest, supercharger with the inlet section of the disconnected from parallel ones strand of the gas main between the first and the second gas-transfer sections; in evacuating gas, when ready, out of the disconnected from the rest the standard supercharger with the disconnected standard supercharger from the strand of the gas main, containing the evacuated and further adjacent, disconnected from the parallel strands sections into disconnected from the parallel strand of the gas main between the first and the second gas-transfer stations within the ranges of operational characteristics of the supercharger and its drive; in shutting off the evacuated section at its outlet by means of the gate-stop facilities and in evacuating the residue of gas from the evacuated section. The second version of the procedure consists in disconnecting sections located behind the first gas-transfer station and behind the (n) additional gas-transfer stations from the parallel strands of the gas line and in simultaneous transfer of gas via the strands disconnected from the parallel ones.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of evacuating gas from sections of gas mains due to maximal utilisation of standard equipment.
