FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: frame consists of case with internal parallel working planes. Distance between planes is measured with sufficiently high precision. A replaceable unit of multi-dimension balls can be pressed to working plane. The unit facilitates conversion of the frame into a multi-range one, while by selecting diametres of balls proper, the frame can be transformed for measurement of new ratings and limits. The balls rest on setting unit of gauging rods pressed to working plane. The frame can have a device for measurement of actual value of attained force when the frame slips the controlled shaft overcoming actual present tightness of coupling. A corresponding correction is introduced into results of diametre measurement.
EFFECT: increased mobility, accuracy, reliability of measurements, and their reduced cost.
