FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: technologies are described for repeated synchronisation of time identifiers of cells in a radio network (C-RNTI) in a wireless communication system. In one version the user equipment (UE) sends preamble of arbitrary access for arbitrary access. The basic station receives preamble of arbitrary access, assigns a temporary C-RNTI for UE and sends a response of arbitrary access, including a temporary C-RNTI. UE uses a temporary C-RNTI as C-RNTI for itself, if the current C-RNTI is not available yet. UE rejects the temporary C-RNTI and applies the actual C-RNTI, if it is available. UE sends transfer after reception of arbitrary access response, and the transfer may include an actual C-RNTI, if it is available. To transfer service, the basic station (the target basic station) receives a request of service transfer from the initial basic station, assigns the actual C-RNTI for UE and sends the actual C-RNTI of the initial basic station for re-direction towards UE.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of synchronisation.
