FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a device for periodic or continuous introduction of a drug such as insulin. The device contains an injection assembly and a liquid supply assembly. The liquid supply assembly contains a container, supply means, e.g. in the form of a pump, and a case. The injection assembly contains a base which is permanently attached to a locating pad containing means for base attachment to user's skin, a cannula unit comprising a body wherein there is a through channel directing a liquid to the cannula passing behind a proximal side of the base when in use. The base is provided with an attachment means designed to attach and detach the liquid supply assembly and extended from a distal side of the base. The injection assembly and liquid supply assembly are attached to each other and attachable to patient's skin as a combined unit. A portion between the cannula located under skin and the liquid supply assembly comprises a flexible portion to make the device use more comfortable.
EFFECT: more comfort ensured by the means reducing the transfer of effect from the relatively heavy liquid supply assembly to the injection assembly as a result of touches or motions.
