FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has simple structure composed of lever and clamp for fixing catheter unit bushing usually on casing of single-use needle or cannula and protection means for separating the catheter bushing and cannula unit or protection means useable when taking out or preventive protection of needle or cannula after their being used. The lever-type clamping unit is applied for reaching operation safety in working with catheter that pushes the catheter bushing after splitting and releasing the catheter bushing, from protection means of the anterior cannula or needle unit end. It enables physician or medical personnel to release catheter operating with one hand only. The other version of the device provides for separating flexible catheter bushing and needle or cannula unit in the device for introducing catheter by simply manipulating with lever mounted on cannula unit or on means for giving protection to is anterior end by means of simple pressure applied to a member of pawl type.
