FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device represents a gastric tube. On a working end of the tube, there is a capsule inserted into a tube gap and consisting of a homogeneous solid substance self-ignitable when affected by water. In that specific case, sodium metal is used as a substance which is ignitable spontaneously when affected by water. In that specific case, potassium metal is used as a substance which is ignitable spontaneously when affected by water. On the outside, the capsule is coated with an elastic film attached to the working end of the tube. A non-working end of the tube is tightly attached to a syringe with water.
EFFECT: more comfortable manipulation for an experimenter, extended range of products for simulation of interoreceptor thermal burn shock.
