FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine, namely to experimental gastroenterology and can be applied for modeling of acute peritonitis. For this purpose in selected section of intestine probe of corresponding diametre is introduced. On working end of probe placed is capsule, consisting of homogeneous solid substance melting at body temperature. In particular case as solid substance, melting at body temperature, ice is used. Inside capsule coiled elastic double-edged rod is made. In particular case elastic double-edged rod is made from nichrome. Probe is removed. Under impact of temperature capsule melts, rod straitens and injures intestine wall.
EFFECT: simplification of modelling, elimination of abdominal cavity opening, increase of convenience of operating experimenter's work, approximation of model to natural pathology, increase of reproducibility.
