FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to experimental medicine, namely to pathological physiology, experimental resuscitation and aims at simulation of terminal conditions in small laboratory animals caused by acute controlled haemorrhage followed by resuscitation. A simulator of acute haemorrhage caused clinical death in small laboratory animals accommodates a syringe attached to a manometer. A tube connected to blood vessel is joined to its cannula. Said system is also equipped with a support having at least bearing carriers. The support comprises a horizontally fixed syringe with eccentric cannula downwards. On the syringe tip on the opposite side and above the cannula, there is a through hole with a tube of the same diametre rigidly attached thereto and connected to the manometer. A conditional line connecting said through hole and the syringe cannula is perpendicularly to plane of the support.
EFFECT: higher stability of the system, elimination of aeration of the cannula and blood ingression to the manometer, improved operational comfort, and higher reproducibility.
