FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: basic station communicates with a mobile station by means of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) using a preset frequency band into transfer frequency bands. The basic station includes a module of separation, which separates a frequency band for a mobile station searching for adjacent cells, and the frequency band includes a central frequency in the raster of the first frequency band, and has width equal or exceeding the width of the second frequency band, by means of which a synchronisation channel is transmitted.
EFFECT: accuracy of adjacent cells detection.
