METHOD OF EXPRESS-CORRECTION OF EMOTIONAL STATE Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61B5/16

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of psychology and psychotherapy and can be used for express-correction of keenly felt emotional states, psychocorrection and psychoprophilaxis of emotional deviations of various types. Clients are asked to visualise image of negative emotional state, after which to apply on glass corresponding image by paints and/or gouache. After that, they are offered to wash materialised in picture image of negative feelings away with water and create a new artistic image with positive, resource content together with an expert or other client simultaneously from both sides of clean glass. During entire session clients fix their sensations and changes in emotional state in reflexive sheets, in which they write down their own observations and insights.

EFFECT: method makes it possible during one session to give a person psychological support in extreme and/or emotionally difficult life situation, helps to respond, weaken or overcome negative feelings in socially acceptable form, obtain emotional abreaction, acquire subjective experience of operative self-assistance, and in future elaborate new positive strategy of emotional response and efficient skills of self-control over emotional responses.
