SUBSTANCE: invention relates to absorbing product (1), such as protecting means used in case of incontinence, which has liquid-permeable upper sheet (3), underlying sheet (4) and absorbing core (5, 6, 7), enclosed between them, said absorbing core includes upper absorbing layer (5), proximal to upper sheet, and lower absorbing layer (6), distal to upper sheet, in absorbing core made is elongated hollow (8), passing in longitudinal direction of the product. In accordance with claimed invention the first and the second elastic elements (9, 10), attached to opposite lateral edges of absorbing core (5, 6, 7), pass along said hollow in longitudinal direction, and upper sheet (3) is fixed to said elastic elements and to hollow bottom (8), hollow (8) being made only in upper absorbing layer (5).

EFFECT: absorbing product can take a cup-like shape itself, when it is taken out of the package, its central absorbing part being located close to user's body during its application.
