FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: protective means in male incontinence has a longitudinal extension limited by first and second ends, a triangular base with a maximum width across a longitudinal direction at the first end and a minimum width at the second end; it comprises an upper fluid-permeable layer, a lower protective layer and an absorbent core in between. The absorbent core has straight long side edges and side barrier at each long side edge. The side barrier is formed by a lower protective layer extending outside the longitudinal section of the longitudinal side edges of the absorbent core, and has an external edge spaced from the respective longitudinal side edge of the absorbent core, and an elastic attached to a lower protective layer between the longitudinal side edge, and an external edge. The space between the elastic of the side barriers and the respective longitudinal side edge of the absorbent core in the direction perpendicular to the longitudinal side edge is different along the longitudinal direction. The elastic extends from a point wherein the space between the elastics and the respective longitudinal side edge is maximum in the direction of the first and second ends wherein the above space is minimum.
EFFECT: providing production waste reduction and prevented side leakage.
