FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in production of metal devices intended for treatment of waste gases or reduction of their toxicity and made from multiple partially shaped foil sheets. In compliance with proposed method, at least, one flat foil sheet 2 (stage "а") is prepared and subjected to forming treatment to produce regular structure 3 (stage "б"). Then, solid solder 1 (stage "в") is applied thereon. Said operations are carried out intermittently and, at least partially , in combination. Proposed device 1 has, at least, one system 14 to feed foil and, at least, one forming device 15 for shape oil sheet 2 to regular structure 3. At least, one positioning device 16 is used to apply, in intervals, solid solder 1 on, at least, one foil sheet 2. Synchronisers 17 are used to time motions of working members of forming device 15 and positioning device 16.
EFFECT: high-accuracy application of solid solder on separated sections of foil sheet for commercial production.
