FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: set of invention relates to methods of producing 3-D articles from powder by selective sintering under electromagnetic radiation, and to 3-D article thus produced and device to this end. Proposed method uses powder containing polymer of polyarylether ketone of copolymer of polyarylether ketone. Note here that R-d article thus produced features final crystallinity of 5 to 45%. Aforesaid powder may also contain polyamide polymer or polyamide copolymer. Note here that R-d article thus produced features final crystallinity of 10 to 50%. Proposed method may be implemented using powder containing, at least, one polymer or copolymer material. Note here that proposed method incorporates preliminary definite and/or controller cooling stage to be carried out after sintering. Note also that polymer to this end is selected to limit crystallinity of produced 3-D article. Proposed device comprises temperature controller incorporated with pre-cooling stage hardware to be initiated after sintering.

EFFECT: improved mechanical properties, better chemical stability at low final shrinkage in final crystallisation.
