COMPOSITION ON BASIS OF POLY(ARYLENE ETHER KETONES) WITH IMPROVED PROPERTIES Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC C08L71/00 C08L71/10 C08K5/04

Abstract RU 2677666 C2

FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of poly (arylene ether ketones). Composition for the preparation of parts based on one of the following polymers is described: poly(ether ether ketone) (PEEK), poly(ether ketone) (PEK) or poly(ether ketone ether ketone ketone) (PEKEKK), and containing poly(ether ketone ketone) (PEKK), characterized in that poly(ether ketone ketone) (PEKK) contains a mixture of terephthalic and isophthalic links, the mass percentage of terephthalic units in relation to the sum of terephthalic and isophthalic units ranges from 55 to 85 %, including boundary values, and preferably from 55 to 70 %, and this composition contains from 1 to 40 %, including boundary values, preferably from 5 to 40 % and even more preferably from 10 to 30 % of the mass. PEKK relative to the total weight of the composition. Part is also described made of the above composition using a method, selected from laser sintering, molding, injection molding, or extrusion. Method of improving the yield strength is also described and/or relative elongation at break of the composition based on one of the following polymers: poly(ether ether ketone) (PEEK), poly(ether ketone) (PEK) or poly(ether ketone ether ketone ketone) (PEKEKK), and the method includes the introduction of PEKK in the specified composition, this method is characterized in that the PEKK contains a mixture of terephthalic and isophthalic units, the mass percentage of terephthalic units in relation to the sum of terephthalic units and isophthalic units range from 55 to 85 %, including boundary values, and preferably from 55 to 70 %, and this composition contains from 1 to 40 %, including boundary values, preferably from 5 to 40 % and even more preferably from 10 to 30 % of the mass. PEKK relative to the total weight of the composition.

EFFECT: technical result is to obtain a composition for the formation of parts that exhibit a significant reduction in internal stresses, so that it is possible to do without an additional stage of subsequent annealing, which are not deformed and possess improved mechanical properties.
