FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: produced granules can be utilised in production of ferment both in frozen state and for successive sublimable drying. The device for microbe bio-mass granulation and freezing consists of granulating tank 1, where into microbe bio-mass is placed, of a drop-generator in form a set of capillaries 4 secured in a bottom of tank 1, of filled with liquid tank 7 forming granules, and of replaceable granules collector 8 located in granules forming tank 7. The device is equipped with intermediate sealed chamber 5 of granules preliminary formation. This chamber is positioned between the drop-generator and granules forming tank 7. Also, tank 7 is filled with liquid nitrogen, while capillaries 4 of the drop-generator are located in intermediate sealed chamber 5 for granules preliminary formation. Chamber 5 for granules preliminary formation has branch 6 for exhaust of liquid nitrogen fumes from tank 7 filled with liquid nitrogen passing by chamber 5 for granules preliminary formation.
EFFECT: production of not-bound spherical granules of specified dimension under aseptic conditions and maintaining growth power of micro-organisms at their future usage.
