SUBSTANCE: iron (1) body (2) has a hole (23) at the rear section (21) to fill a liquid container (3). A pressure balancing device is arranged to balance pressure between the liquid container (3) and the medium, which surrounds the iron (1). The pressure balancing device comprises an air duct (5), the first end section (51) of which (5) enters the front section (30) of the liquid container (3), and the second end section (53) of the air duct (5) passes in the rear section (21) of the iron (1) body (2) and goes out of the rare section (21) of the iron (1) body (2). The second end section (53) of the air duct (5) is arranged in an arched manner. The top (53d) of the arched shape is arranged horizontally further in direction of the back end of the iron (1), compared to the maximum level (MF) to fill the liquid container (3).
