FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of psychology. Time of simple sensomotor response to visual, auditory and skin signals, presented to right and left hemispheres before and after mental workload, is measured. Signal of each modality is presented twice with time interval and the following indices are determined: difference of average values of response time to all stimuli, both to the first and to the second signal presentation, averaged indices of rate of left and right hemisphere responses, intra-hemisphere ratio of activity of sensor zones with determination of dominating analyser, type and value of activation of indices of time of response to mental workload and indices of inter-hemisphere asymmetry.
EFFECT: method extends arsenal of means for studying perceptive links in structure of functional systems realising attention processes.
