SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the left-right hemisphere dichotomy in healthy individuals. Magnetic resonance imaging of the brain is performed in the axial plane in the mode of non-contrast ASL perfusion of the brain substance with a quantitative assessment of cerebral blood flow (CBF, ml/100 g/min). If the cerebral blood flow in one hemisphere is 1.2 times higher or more than the cerebral blood flow in the other hemisphere, then left- or right-hemisphere type is identified. If the difference in cerebral blood flow between the hemispheres is 1.1 times or less, equihemispheric type is identified.
EFFECT: method allows one to overcome difficulties in formation of a system of training, education, organization of work activity and professional guidance by determining the left-right hemisphere dichotomy in healthy individuals using MRI.
