FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning of dielectric fluids of mechanical impurities. Electric cleaner composite housing is made up of cylindrical or whatever shape wherein one face is exposed while another one is closed to make section bottom with fluid passage. Bottom of every section is closed from inside by dielectric material screen and every section accommodate a barrel without bottom or cover to repeat section cross section shape and to adjoin section lateral inner surfaces. Said barrel is made from nonconductive material. Bulky precipitator made up of minor metal particles closed by dielectric material screen is fitted inside every section. Electrode in contact with precipitator fine elements to transfer its charge to said elements is arranged inside precipitator of every section. Said electrode may feature loop, flat or bulky shape. Sections are provided with ledges arranged on bottom outer side that repeat the section exposed face shape. Exposed end of every section is fitted into ledge. Required number of sections is selected. Covers with unions close section package faces, bolted together.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaner.
