FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Proposed metal article 10 consists of jointed sections 12, 14 of foamed metal and metal metallically interconnected, and one insert 16. Said insert 16 is made from material with higher melt point compared with those of foamed metal and metal. Section 12 of foamed metal is separated from adjoining sections 14 by inserts 16 arranged on boundary section. Said inserts 16 are, mainly flat, and have through holes with diameter selected to that, mainly, monomodal foam bubbles of one section may not het onto another section.
EFFECT: continuous foamless section of outer metal wall with whatever configuration.
