SUBSTANCE: drilling bit of blade type (10) for rotary drilling includes supporting element (42), that effectively decreases protrusion value of at least one closely located cutting element (24) by predictable value that is similar to cutting depth (CD) of cutter. Actually supporting element has uniform thickness along its whole area. The form for drilling bit manufacturing includes, at least, one cavity for location of standard exchangeable insert that has front end, the depth of which facilitates insert location and removal. Method of drill bit form manufacturing includes the formation of cavity inside form blank.
EFFECT: decrease of projection value of cutting elements or cutters at the crowns of drilling bits for guaranteed predictable value, optimisation of drilling bit operating modes with relation to control of loads on cutting elements or cutting depth.
